Our unique craft, and our comfortable approach. Carving out messages that ignite support and attract audiences to your call to action is what we do best. Our eye-catching designs and well-thought out copy, will work in concert with your effective grass roots efforts to attract more supporters and encourage them to tell the world to follow. We are about inspiring emotions, calling to action, and enhancing your mandates, with each and every marketing tool we touch. However, we are not about fancy cars, stiletto heels and large egos. We left the ad agency world for more comfortable digs, working from our home office, just steps away from our barn, our forest and our inspiration.

What if I've never worked with a communications firm before?
Welcome! We've helped many first-timers get acquainted with the world of marketing. We've also helped adapt and strengthen brands that already have quite a bit of history, without a lot of direction. We are not on any high horses around here, so, saddle up and lets get to work!

What is your approach to the work?
Our relaxed way and centered approach to life make it very easy to talk shop around us. We love understanding your days, your goals and your challenges. We want you to understand the marketing just as well. We can't stand B.S, and will always filter for you, presenting you simply with facts and solutions. We'll take the time to make sure the ideas are just as much yours as they are ours. We're straight to the point, agile in our day to day requirements and efficient with your time. You'll be surprised how easy it will feel.

Who do I contact if I am ready to Ignite Support?
If you know what you need, clicking through the appropriate section on the site, and filling our the contact form is a good place to start. That way, we get all the info we need, you know what to expect, and our first chat can be nice and efficient. Also, Jo MacArthur is ready to chat with you about your needs and goals and will figure out how best to proceed from there. How many Proactive Imaginations are there?
This is a family company, headed by papa bear, Richard MacArthur and mama bear Jo MacArthur. With over a decade of experience in the advertising and marketing world, this dynamic duo complement each other's skills and backgrounds to a perfectly well-rounded cocktail. They also know and mingle with several other Proactive Imaginations that are called in on a project per project basis when a certain set of skills are needed. Deliberately though, this firm is not large, and will never aspire to be large. A small, quick and agile team has allowed us to stay on top of the latest information, adapt our skills and offerings with changing needs and deliver high-level work, in a more efficient, timely and effective manner. Both principals have their own receptionist-free lines, mobile e-mails and make themselves available around the clock. This work is based in passion for the objectives, not punching a time clock.

What are you doing in social media?
Personally, not a lot. We've got to be honest, we do not live there in our personal lives. However, we understand it inside and out, and are doing more management work in this arena for our client base. In theory we love it, and in practice we believe you must market there as well as other avenues. We can keep you current and in tune- but we do live in this real world- and are happy to consider Social Media as ONE of the options in today's tumultuous media climate. Our parent company has a twitter feed where we post relevant news, marketing insider info, the occasional funny, and even some free strategies for your use.
